Friday and Saturday

This week has gone fast and I haven’t had time to post. Here are some pictures from Friday and today. I just put Grace down to bed and as we were saying her prayers, there was a loud “boom” from the thunderstorm going on. Grace and I both jumped and she said it was “silly daddy”. Good thing she doesn’t get scared from them because she went right back down to sleep. Nick said something right by our house was struck.

Today was fun; we had visitors over this afternoon. Cheryl (from my work) and Murphy came over to play. Today was Murphy’s 4th birthday, so Grace made her a cake and a card. It was interesting seeing how much different a two year old is from a four year old.

Grandma painted her piggys last weekend and so she wanted them done again.

Sissy was stealing her apples and Grace thought it was hilarious.For whatever reason, this made her giggle as if someone was tickling her.

I took this picture because her hair is getting so curly now that it is more humid out.

I was trying to get Ava to eat her vegetables (notice it all over her face) and so I would say "mmmm" after each bite. Then, when she was eating her apple, she started saying "mmmm" too and cracked herself up. Her personality is definitely coming out now, how fun!

I had Friday off from work, so I got out all of the patio furniture.

It was so nice out, we decided to eat dinner outside.

Ava is teething again. Ava gets a really runny nose and chapped cheeks. Here is what she looked like when she woke up on Friday...poor baby!

So Grace is going through a Mickey Mouse phase right now. She is obsessed with everything Mickey Mouse. My mom bought her a Mickey chair the other day and when I came up from changing Ava's diaper I saw this. She moved her chair close to the television to watch Mickey and was in a daze as she ate her breakfast. Then I went to the kitchen to make Ava a bottle and I came back to this. I asked Grace what was going on and she said that sissy was trying to pull up on her Mickey chair. She put it up there to protect Mickey from sissy. Grace normally does good sharing with Ava, but not so much when it comes to her Mickey items!
