This year, we headed down to Uncle Randy and Aunt Sandi’s house on Friday the 3rd. This is Nick’s mom’s side of the family. We all love getting together, but normally only see each other for Christmas and weddings. The weekend consists of food, family, games and of course the biggest waffle ball tournament ever! Instead of heading home to catch the fireworks on the 4th, we stayed two nights in Battle Creek. I already miss the family, campfires and all of the laughs.
