Ava's New Tricks

I can hardly believe that Ava is going to be one at the end of the month, the time really has flown by fast. Just in the past few weeks, her personality has seemed to blossom. Here is a listing off the top of my head of things that she has learned:
...
1. How to bug her Grace. She is definitely going to be the sister that likes to bug her older sister. She knows just what to do to push buttons and she gets a kick out of it. No really, she laughs out loud when Grace gets mad at her.
...
2. How to pull herself up and walk with her shopping cart. She has been pulling up for a month or so now, but just in the past week, she can push anything on wheels around the room.
...
3. How to say "Bubba". All the grandkids call my dad Bubba and Ava just learned how to say it. The funny thing about it is that she says it in a really deep voice like my dad. I'll have to get it on camera sometime. Her other words include, dada, tada, uh-oh and mmm. She uses them appropriately too, which is funny.
...
4. Drinking out of a straw. Ava just can't get the hang of sippy cups. Well, it isn't that she can't get the hang of it, more like she is just too lazy to do it. Tonight she learned how to sip out of a straw. She sucks so hard that her cheeks go in far. What a big girl! Grace learned while we were in Florida, which was when she was 14 months old. There is a picture below of it.
...
5. Switched to "Big Girl" milk. No more formula, we are officially giving Ava whole milk. This is a lot easier to prepare, not to mention on the pocket book. We slowly introduced it to her thinking we would switch closer to the end of the month, but she hasn't had any problems.
...
I'm sure there is more, but that is all I can think of for now.

You can kind of see her cheeks going in. What a big girl!
