Starting June 5th, the girls will go to day care on Fridays. Nick and I have checked around and we have signed them up for one right by our house (literally only 1 minute away). My mom wanted to see the place and I wanted the girls to see it before they started going, so we went there today. Grace was her normal shy, but when we got in the care, she said “more cool,” meaning ‘more school.’ This makes me feel a whole lot better because Grace just screamed at the last day care we brought her to. I think it is a combination of a lot of things; her being older, she is used to going to nursery at church, the rooms are so fun and the people are nice. Let’s hope she keeps this attitude up. I’m sure she will get nervous the first few times, but once they start playing she will be fine.

Some of you know that I am walking in the Stomp Out Stigma walk for The Mental Health Foundation of West Michigan this Saturday. I am very excited for this event and thankful for those that sponsored me in the walk and those walking with me. I’ve done the walk before when Grace was little. It is such a pretty walk for a great cause. The weather forecast just keeps getting worse, now it says a 70% chance of thunderstorms in the morning! I sure do hope that we get to walk.

Finally, I have a picture of the girls where both of them are smiling and looking at the camera. The amazing part was that it didn’t take much time or any coercing.
Nick tries to play racquetball every Wednesday. Yesterday Nick got home and stood in the living room a few minutes before going in the shower. For whatever reason, he put his foot on the table. Nick and I were just talking about the night and we realized that Grace was copying him. I just had to get a picture of it. She loves to do what everyone else is doing.
