COLORADO!

Sorry for the delay in writing, Nick and I just got back from Colorado early this evening. I had a conference this week and so we decided to go out just the two of us early. It was great to spend time together, but it was so hard to be away from the girls. We did some hiking, saw some friends of ours and did lots of exploring around the city.

Nick and I went out to Colorado when we were at Grand Rapids Community College and fell in love with it. We always said we would move out there one day. This trip just reconfirmed that, we just love everything about it. Nick has always wanted to move to the city of Golden. We were able to spend some time out there and now I see why he loves it. It is close to the mountains, clean, has easy access to Denver and has the cutest small town feel ever. Maybe one day we will do it, until then, we’ll just have to find reasons to visit.

Now that we are back, I will go back to taking pictures of the girls, but here are some from our trip to Colorado. The pictures never do the beauty of the land justice.

Well, off to bed...we've been up and going since 3:00 a.m. Our flight was out at 6:00 a.m. and we had to return the car and get to the airport. So excited to sleep in my bed tonight.
