"How old is Ava?" One!!! Only a few more weeks.Happy Mother’s Day to all the mothers out there.
I love doing things for my mom and mother-in-law and keeping the attention off of me. I don’t feel like I need something special on Mother’s Day, well, maybe just a nap or something! We got up like a normal Sunday and got ready for church. When I went downstairs to get my shoes, Grace came around the corner with a gift in her hand. It was some diamond earrings! I love them, but feel so scared to wear them. I feel much better with cheap ones in my ears just in case something happens to them. Nick is very sweet when it comes to gifts.
I have always been the sentimental type, but having kids has sure brings it out in me more. I just feel so blessed to have them in my life. Little girls are just so sweet and the way they love each other makes me feel so proud. Anyone else feel this way?
We had Nick’s mom and dad over for dinner tonight and had a nice time. We normally have Sunday dinners at their house, so it was nice to have them over here for a chance and let them get out of cooking. I am so lucky to have Cindy as my mother-in-law. She is there when we need her, but doesn’t intrude. She always knows just what to say.
