Terrible two’s?

Experts say that since Toddlers don’t have much choice in many parts of their day, so when it comes to things they have control over, they jump right on that opportunity. Grace’s new favorite sayings include “I did” or “me do”. From everything from the food she eats to buckling herself into the car seat (which takes forever) Grace wants to tell you what is going on. As sweet as she still is, she is definitely testing us each day. One example that comes to mind is when Grace was banging a pencil on the coffee table. Nick told her to stop because she put a chip in it. After a few times of asking nicely, Nick said “If you do it one more time, you will go in time out” and she gives him the dirtiest look and whacks the table one last time! Now she knew very well what she did and immediately ran off and began crying. Oh, the joys of having a toddler. Luckily these moments are getting fewer and fewer as she discovers what she can and can't do.
